Hello, this is my stock account, and this journal entry contains all the useful information about this account that I can think of.

Purpose and Guidelines
The purpose of this account is to provide useful, usable, and inspiring stock images to the deviantART community. I have some specific guidelines for my stock submissions, most of which are based on problems I encountered while searching DA for stock myself. Here are my guidelines:
1. I only submit images that are in focus. You may take this for granted, but it was a problem when I was searching.
2. I only submit images if the subject is completely in frame.
3. I try to take photos so that the subject is easy to separate from the background, or the subject is a background or texture that is easy to use in a manipulation.
4. I try to provide good data quality. This means my photos have a useful color range and contrast, they are rarely cropped and never resized, and they have the highest resolution my camera can record. None of my stock photos are manipulated. That is for you to do.
5. The titles of my stock photos contain the name of this account, a unique number, and a short, obvious description.
6. I generally don't submit photos of people, but of course, doing that is not a bad thing

Usage and Credit
You may use my stock wherever you want, even outside DA. Well, except for one limitation. I used to say, "you can just add a frame and sell it," but I've changed my mind. You may use a whole unedited photo, like in a brochure design or collage, but you may not redistribute a whole photo by itself without permission. You may still sell works that you have created with my photos, just not the plain photo. When you use my work, please send me a note or leave a comment on the photo you use. You don't have to credit me in your work, but I consider it courteous since I provide free stock.

I tend to give favorites to works based on my stock. It is my way of keeping track of usage, as well as advertising the manipulators. You do not need to post your manipulations on my front page, because I read them less frequently than notes, and I will advertise your work anyway.
